A Closer Look at Air Conditioning Installation

roth

With the warm summer weather, many people are taking the leap and adding air conditioning (A/C) to their homes. If you are thinking of adding A/C or recently had A/C added to your home, you may wonder exactly what happens during an air conditioning install. With this story told in pictures, we hope to give you a better understanding of what is involved in an A/C install.

All of our install technicians are certified and licensed to ensure proper installation of all aspects of your new air conditioning system and participate in continuing education in order to keep up with today’s rigorous standards of quality. In this picture, the technician has just finished "braising", or welding in the new refrigerant lines.

After welding the new refrigerant lines, the technicians accurately charge and balance your new A/C system with environmentally friendly refrigerant. Here is a picture of an installer getting ready to balance the refrigerant charge for a newly installed air conditioning unit in order for the unit to run at its peak efficiency, equaling maximum comfort in the home.

In this picture, we see the technician carefully sealing all potential air gaps between equipment in order to ensure conditioned air makes it inside your house to its intended destination. The refrigerant lines and condensation drain lines have been expertly installed for maximum functionality while taking up as little space as possible. Attention to detail is of key concern to all of us here at Roth Heating and Cooling.

This is just a quick look at an A/C install but hopefully you see the care our technicians take in creating a perfect install for each customer. To learn more about adding A/C to your home, call our office at (503) 266-1249. We would be happy to answer any questions you have or schedule a free in-home estimate.
