Please share with the staff at Roth's Heating how thankful I am for the piece of sheet metal that was donated for my classroom. I am sending a picture with it hanging up on the wall. I will use it as a magnet board to attach pictures for the student of the week.

I appreciate the kindness of Roth's to not only donate the piece, but to also hem the edges and make holes so that I could hang it easily. Thanks again for your support for Canby Schools and the kids at 91 School.

Making a Home More Habit(able)

Portland, OR (June 16, 2008) - Well accustomed to working on homes- from ‘starters’ to Street of Dreams masterpieces- a group of Roth Heating & Cooling employees got a chance to make a difference on a Habitat for Humanity home in Northeast Portland.

RHC and Habitat for Humanity

On May 31, 2008, six installers from Roth Heating’s Canby facility participated in the Portland Habitat for Humanity Home builder Blitz 2008.  Five homebuilders & 180 trades contractors, suppliers and hospitality sponsors worked together to make this year’s event a success.
The Roth Heating employees who participated this year were (L to R); Nate, Travis, Chad, Shane, Bryan and Jerry.  During their shift they installed the home’s new complete heating system.
Although this Habitat for Humanity home was the first one for four of the installers, both Nate and Chad have worked on four previous Builder Blitzes, installing HVAC equipment on behalf of Roth Heating.

“It’s a great experience,” said Nate. “It’s pretty cool to see everyone work together to get these done in seven days.”

Roth Heating & Cooling Spreads the Holiday Spirit

Oregon National Guard Emergency Relief Fund

Salem, Oregon (December 14, 2006) - ‘Tis the season for sharing and the people of Roth Heating and Cooling have taken that to heart.

In lieu of thanking customers by sending candy or nuts, Roth Heating has decided to thank their customers by making donations to four non-profit agencies, one of which is the Oregon National Guard Emergency Relief Fund.  They provide emergency financial assistance to Oregon Army and Air National Guard members and their families.

“Giving candy and gifts to thank customers has become outdated,” said Kory MacGregor, president of Roth Heating and Cooling.  “And, with so many Oregon National Guard members currently deployed overseas, we really felt that this was a place where we could make a difference, especially this time of the year.”  Canby, Oregon, with satellite offices in Newberg, Silverton, Prineville- and most recently Sisters- their service reach is from Vancouver to Salem, Hillsboro to Bend.
